1937 es una pieza compuesta de “retratos” en la que partiendo de las imágenes de archivo en blanco y negro de los 73 pintores a los que se incluyó en la exposición, del año homónimo, Entartete Kunst, realizada en la Haus der Kunst de Munich, y utlizando como referente cromático la propia obra pictórica de estos pintores, genero una nueva imagen en la que el componente documental y de archivo queda subvertido al acto pictórico.

The piece 1937 is comprised of “portraits” and in which I start from the black and white photographs of the 73 painters included in the exhibition from the same year, Entartete Kunst, that took place in the Haus der Kunst in Munich, and using as a chromatic reference the very work of these painters, I create a new image in which the documentary and the archive component is subverted to the act of painting.
